We love seeing our Girl Scouts out and about, whether they’re doing a service project, attending a council program, having a party, going on a field trip, and everything in between! Here’s some of the submissions we received this week:
“Fairport Daisy Troop 60338 went on a Geocaching Adventure in Mendon Ponds Park! This was their final requirement to earn their 1st badge… the Daisy Trail Adventure badge!”
“Troop 20010 had a blast at the GIRL Experience Convention”
“Junior Troop 60633 spent last weekend at Camp Timbercrest. They enjoyed hiking on the Lake trail where they found geocaches left by their Girl Scout sisters, discovered deer bones, and spotted a Bald Eagle! Other activities included building fairy houses, rock painting, and learning how to build a camp fire. A great time was had by all!”
“Gabby, Adriana, Sarah, and Emelie from Troop 20094 in Jamestown are so excited to chose to come to the GIRL Experience Convention! Their best highlight was the rock wall and acrobats!”
“Troop #34633 from Alden went on tour of the Genesee County Sheriff department and brought along some goodies to show how grateful we are for their service!”
“Girl Scout Troop #34213 went overnight camping at Seven Hills Lakeside and stayed at the Manuel Lodge. We had an amazing time doing crafts, making sit upons, making smores and going for a long hike!! Most of our girls had never been camping before, let alone spend the night at someone’s house. We were so proud of all of our girls!!!”
“Girls from Troops 82049 and 82037 had a great time at the GIRL Experience Convention!”
“Serena of Troop 20264 recently attended a camping skills program at Camp Piperwood!”
“Girl Scout Shelby attended the Martin House Japanese Printing program. The girls were able to go in a brief tour of the main house, then designed and made clay stamps inspired by Japanese printing. While the girls did that, the adults got to go on an extensive tour!”
