Congratulations to Girl Scout Gold Award recipient Madyson Ashcraft on earning Girl Scouting’s highest honor! The Girl Scout Gold Award recognizes girls who take action to solve important community issues and create meaningful change.

Madyson’s project, “Handicap Accessible Picnic Tables,” partnered with Camp Hard Hat to improve accessibility within a community garden. By designing and building two handicap-accessible picnic tables, Madyson created a more inclusive outdoor space where individuals using wheelchairs can more comfortably gather, participate, and enjoy the garden environment.
