Congratulations to Girl Scout Gold Award recipient Veronica Bohan on earning Girl Scouting’s highest honor! The Girl Scout Gold Award recognizes girls who create sustainable solutions that improve their communities.

Veronica’s project, “Benches for the Elderly and Disabled,” partnered with the Town of Boston Parks Department and Town Board to improve accessibility along local walking paths. Veronica designed and built two planter benches that provide comfortable rest areas for elderly and disabled residents while also beautifying the park space with flowers and greenery.
