Congratulations to Girl Scout Gold Award recipient Makayla Carbone on earning Girl Scouting’s highest honor! The Girl Scout Gold Award honors girls who identify community needs and lead projects that create positive change.

Makayla’s project, “Supporting and Awareness of Sexual Assault,” focused on increasing awareness and support for survivors while helping educate the community about the importance of advocacy and resources. Through outreach and education efforts, Makayla worked to create a more informed and supportive environment for those affected.
