Leila Kuhns’ 80+ hours of work culminated in her miniature horse show Horses Helping Horses to earn her Girl Scout Gold Award. She contacted the judges, created the online entry form, ordered show ribbons and and numbers, and successfully ran the show and announced classes and results.

She will be sharing her experiences at the open house for Love Always Equine Sanctuary in Barker, NY on October 16.

Competitors donated items as entry fees: Leila collected 28 bags of shavings, 8 bags of grain, 7 tubes of dewormer, and $300 in gift cards. Leila had so much fun running the show, she will make it an annual event!
