Happy Fourth of July!

All Girl Scouts of Western New York Offices and Shops will be closed on Friday, July 2, and Monday, July 5, for the Independence Day Weekend. We will resume summer hours on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

90th Anniversary Family and Friends Event at Camp Seven Hills
July 30 to August 1, 2021–ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT!*

Better late than never! Let’s enjoy an in-person celebration of 90 years of Camp Seven Hills since we couldn’t gather last year!

The Saturday-only portion of the event begins July 31 at 9:30am. ONLINE ONLY: Shop the 90th Anniversary merch! There will not be an in-person shop at camp this year.

If you’ve been keeping up with our Pride Month posts the past four weeks, you’ve seen the topics of history, notable people, pop culture, and how to be a good ally. This week is the final week of the Pride celebrations, which also makes it the last post on this topic for the month. But does that mean we get to dust off our hands and move on once we hit July? Absolutely not! While we’ve had a ton of fun putting these posts together for you, and the world is a better place than it once was, we want to acknowledge that there’s so much more work to do!

We have some updates to Girl Scout Shop hours for July & August. The Jamestown & Lockport shops will only be open on Wednesdays, please see the updates below: 

BUFFALO & ROCHESTER SHOP OFFICE HOURS:

• Monday        1:00-4:30 Curbside Pickup & In-person Shopping
• Wednesday  1:00-4:30 Curbside Pickup & In-person Shopping

JAMESTOWN & LOCKPORT SHOP OFFICE HOURS:

• Wednesday  1:00-4:30 Curbside Pickup & In-person Shopping

Also, we will offer some EXTENDED SHOP HOURS on the following days:

• Wednesday, June 30 1:00-6:30 pm – Rochester Shop ONLY

Girl Scouts help Feed the Need!

Due to the pandemic, more families than ever are food insecure. Helping to keep community food banks, pantries, and cupboards stocked is one easy way Girl Scouts of Western New York can make a difference in our community!

This summer GSWNY is again hosting Feed the Need – a food collection drive where we encourage members, troops and staff to donate to their local food pantry. While Feed the Need officially runs July 1 to August 31, any time is a good time to donate!
