Every year, we ask our membership a simple question: what do YOU think our camp theme should be next summer? Because we’re girl-led, we want our camps to reflect the thoughts of our Girl Scouts.

In past years, we’ve celebrated such ideas as Camp: Endless Summer Adventures, Camp Life: Unplugged, #GirlScoutCampLife, and more. This year, our theme was suggested by a Girl Scout with a lot of camp experience.

We are thrilled to announce our winner and theme for 2022. Drum roll, please!

Making Summer Memories, submitted by Girl Scout Senior Jessica M. from Troop 60296

Jessica’s mom, Anne, shared this about her daughter: “Jessica really loves camp and I love how she comes back each year and has grown into a mature young lady.  Horses and Girl Scout Camp are her happy place.”

We love that something so meaningful to Jessica is now reflected in our theme for all campers next Summer.

Camp registration will open in January 2022 when our Summer Camp Guides are released. In the meantime, we’re excited to give an exclusive sneak peak into some of our offerings:

• Horseback riding is back for summer 2022—1 and 2 week programs will be offered!
• Exciting day trips are also included next summer. Look for trips to Buffalo Battle Ground, Buffalo Escape Room, and more.
