GSWNY Girl Scout History Museum
The History committee of GSWNY would like to invite you to take a tour of our council’s history Museum. See how our council was formed as well as badges, recognitions, uniforms and handbooks compare to today’s Girl Scouting. Along the way, look for clues for a history scavenger hunt. Find out how you can be a part of our council’s history. Fill out the form to schedule a tour. https://gswny.wufoo.com/forms/gswny-history-museum-tour-request/
Did you know that our council has a History Committee? Our committee looks after our council’s collection of uniforms, pins, book, collectibles, documents, photos and more! We also provide displays for the museum and other events. We can also bring displays and give talks about Girl Scout History at your next event. (Please allow at least 3 weeks’ notice) We are always looking for more members for our committee. If you like Girl Scout History or just like Girl Scouting, we would love to have you join our group. Maybe you would like to still be involved in Girl Scouting, but not as active as being a troop leader. We’re the group for you! For more information, please contact girl.experience@gswny.org.
