Dear GSWNY Members,

We promised to keep you updated regarding the news we shared last spring 2020 related to the arrest of Marty Walton, a former Girl Scout co-leader, and his wife Shani Walton, a former troop helper. We shared this news with you in the initial May 30, 2020 Update, June 2, 2020 Update, and June 19, 2020 Updates. 

You may have seen a news story issued yesterday, March 11, that Marty Walton was indicted for these charges. Please know that at Girl Scouts of Western New York, the safety and wellbeing of our girls and all children is our highest priority and we take these charges extremely seriously. We are continuing to monitor the legal process of this case and we will continue to keep you updated.
