Thank you for all you do!
As 2021 winds down, we want to thank you for all you do for our Girl Scouts. We know that without your passion, dedication, and commitment, we wouldn’t be able to reach thousands of girls around Western New York.
We hope your holiday season has been filled with joy, peace, and time to rest. In this email, we’ve included resources to help you kick off the new year refreshed and ready to go.
As a reminder, our offices are currently closed and will reopen Monday, January 3. We can’t wait to get back to work and help you along the way.

Volunteer Recognitions
Do you know an amazing volunteer? We bet you do! Consider nominating that volunteer for a GSWNY or GSUSA Adult Recognition. This is a great opportunity to honor our fellow volunteers. And they don’t have to be leaders, either – cookie managers, service unit team members, and committee members all make great honorees too.
Nominations for awards to be presented at the GSWNY Annual Meeting are due by February 1. All other nominations must be submitted 8 weeks prior to proposed presentation date.
You can also submit your request for a Years of Service (10+ years) or Membership Tenure Pin (15+ years) to be purchased by the council.
There are lots of other options too – like the Volunteer of Excellence (perfect for troop volunteers) and informal awards too! Get all the details and forms on our Adult Recognitions page.
Cookie Program Resources
The Online Cookie Program began the beginning of December and we’re quickly approaching the initial order period. We understand there’s a lot to know about cookies, so we’ve gathered resources to help you throughout the program. Use the button below to learn more and reach out to Customer Care with questions.
Grow Your Girl Crew
Our annual Grow Your Girl Crew campaign is happening now! This is when our current members can recruit new Girl Scouts and win big! We’ve have different prize levels for girls, but there’s an adult incentive too!
When you invite an adult to join and they do, you can win an exclusive sweatshirt! Use the link below to learn more.
