Dear GSWNY Members,
Western New York has now reached Phase Four for reopening, and we are pleased to be able to resume some limited in-person Girl Scouting activities and events. The information below is current as of July 7, 2020 and will be in place through August 31, 2020. We continue to evaluate and reassess and will inform you if anything changes.
As the risk of COVID-19 is still present in our community, we continue to promote and encourage virtual and at-home programming as the safest option. For those who wish to meet in person we have safety guidelines in place to reduce the risk. There are many ways to participate in Girl Scouting, so please choose the way that works best for you.
Before leading any in-person Girl Scout activities, volunteers must review the Safety Activity guidelines for in-person meetings, and review one of the two July 9, 2020 webinar recordings below:
- Watch – Service Unit Manager COVID-19 Webinar Recording and (PDF)
- Watch – Troop Leader COVID-19 Webinar Recording and (PDF)
