Girl Scouts of Western New York is happy to announce that we will be going live and in person with our camp registration for both day and overnight camp programs! 

Based on the CDC, GSUSA and American Camp Association (ACA) health and safety guidelines, at this time we are pleased to announce that we are planning to operate both day and resident camp programs this summer 2021. 

We know how much girls have missed camp and we are so excited to be planning for our return to in-person camp this summer.

Please note that NYS has not yet released COVID-19 guidelines for resident camp, however it is expected that these will be aligned to CDC and ACA guidelines. However, as always we will continue to assess and monitor guidelines and rest assured that we will provide our membership with any information and or changes we receive regarding the NYSHD safety guidelines.* 
 
It is also our plan to provide our camp families with informational session nights on what our summer camp COVID guidelines will look like and how parents can prepare themselves and their girls for camp. We will be sharing dates and times within the next few weeks. 

Our pre-registration ends Friday, April 30, so if you have not pre-registered your daughter for camp, we highly encourage you to do so as sessions are filling up fast. Spots are limited this year for COVID-19 safety. Summer camp registration will open up Saturday, May 1 for families that have pre-registered and will be available to everyone on Thursday, May 6. 

We are also happy to announce that we are introducing our Phase I of Troop Camp Programing. Troops will be able to participate in troop camping this summer via the Troop Camp Adventure programing being held at Camp Timbercrest. Troops that have pre-registered will be able to select their Troop Camp Adventure program starting May 1. Troop camp that would take place in lodges and or troop travel must still follow our current GSWNY COVID safety protocols. New safety COVID protocols for troop camp in lodges and or troop travel will be introduced this fall as part of our Phase II Troop Camp approach.
